History and Vision
Bread of Life Christian Church and Community Center, Inc. began its inaugural journey on June 24, 2009, based on the Word of God (Acts 20:28-35). From a background that transitioned from Wake Chapel Church East to Wake Chapel Church of Rocky Mount, to now Bread of Life Christian Church and community Center, Inc., the journey has strengthened and empowered the Bread of Life Church Family to meet every challenge
head-on and wait and trust God for the results. Although incorporated on June 24, 2009, the beginning celebration of our church took place on August 28 – 30, 2009. On December 31, 2009, the Lord spoke and directed our church family to begin every prayer, every petition, every act of praise and worship with these words, “IT IS WRITTEN”. We discovered that God will always respond to more readily to His Word than a multiplicity of powerless words with no substance. Bread of Life Christian Church and Community Center, Inc is interdenominational ministry that works with all churches and organization that have like beliefs or are willing to share their different yet common beliefs in the God of the Bible. Our motto is, “LEARNING IS GOOD, APPLICATION IS BETTER.” The Great Commission of Matthew 28:19, 20 propelled us in reaching our community and the world for Christ. However, Christ has also directed us to Luke 14:23, “And the Lord said unto the servant, go out unto the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
THE VISION
The Vision of Bread of Life Christian Church and Community Center, Inc., is:
1. To provide religious and secular educational training with the objective of being a
productive member of society.
2. To promote and provide a vehicle whereby the graduating students will have the
necessary skills for the job market of today in both the religious and secular
community.
3. To provide a non-church vehicle and structure whereby people of many different
denominations, churches, and backgrounds may band together in a cooperative
effort to assist in the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical development
of the total person.
WE KNOW THAT THE KEY TO UPWARD MOBILITY IN THE FIELD OF RELIGON, AS WELL AS THE SECULAR COMMUNITY IS EDUCATION, OF WHICH, NEW COVENANT BIBLE INSTITUTE, INC. IS COMMITTED.
